Usually herp shows are just a rehash, but this week animal planet showed a couple of new (to me) shows about some European herps that were really well done.
There was a series of three called Jester, Killer, and King. Jester was about Ocellated Lizards (snake food), Killer was about Vipera and King was about the Montpellier Snake.
All were really good. They are repeating them on Sunday I believe, so if you have some brain cells to kill, this would be a worthy place to do it.
The Malpolon show was particularly interesting (except for the moron Froggy farmer and his rock throwing!).
