I thought I would post my gold tegus grwoth .On 6/17/04 his/hers snt to vent was 5/12"-tl lenghtwas 133/4"- and he wieghed 85grams.ASD of 9/12/04, Now he/she is 71/4"snt to vent 187/8" tl-and wieghs 255 grams.Thankss Russ

Thanks. Im shure every body does all they can .I only own my three tegus.I do though give my tegus Uvb. My gold has a 8.0 in his cage .In the summer, spring and early fall, my blue and Blk&wht go out side 3-5 days a week, and I use a capture the sun mercury vaper in the winter..Also I super gut load my insects. My crickets get ,Cricket water bites calcuim, cricket total bites. These are from nature zone.Also my kingworms and crickets get Carrots, oranges, old left over kiwiis and strawberries,Redpeppers ,cucumbers Ect.I also get my rodents from Rodent pro. Now Santiago and siena are from Ron St. Pierre, his tegus are alsome. I was at his plsce this last Spring when My family and I went to Disney world.His tegus are all great looking.I also Keep my tegus cages very cleaned.I spot clean there cages twice a day.In Siena,and Santiagos hide box I use Peat moss . It is miost not wet ,I chang it every 6 weeks. They never poop or pee in it.I turn and Fluff The peat moss every day so It dosent compact. Thats it.Take care Russ
