Hi everyone, i just got two satanics today and did research on care and all that. But as far as breeding them i was curious about their habits. I read that they have a breeding season. Is it necessary to induce it by changing temps or something? I have a bunch of crested geckos and have been successful in breeding them. Do they ever lay their eggs in a container with substrate? Anyways any info would be great, Thanks!!

yes all uroplatus have a breeding season i think its breeding season now here in the U.S. i dont know if they lay there eggs in a container never tried it most of the time they bury them in leaf litter or in the moss
Thanks for the info, one last question, do you know how long breeding season lasts as far as how many clutches do they normally lay?
mad1234 told me that i think until march they lay 2 eggs and and breeding last one to three hours

I myself can not answer your questions on them, as I have and am trying to breed uroplatus henekli.
But there are many on here that do have satanics that will certainly help you anytime, They are a great bunch. 
We all share our veiws and thoughts on all our different species, very interesting and enjoyable.
One thing is law here, ya have to post a pic of your satanics for us(if ya can) or we wont talk, ehhehehehe 
honestly we do love to share our pics, I have to get some up myself.
