Heating Question for new Ball Python!!!!

Raptorman Sep 12, 2004 10:53 PM

I have a month and half old 16 inch baby ball python. He is in a 10 gallon cage w/ bark substrate, a dog water bowl, a hiding spot w/ a heating pad underneath the cage onthe side of the hiding spot. Question is, is the heating pad enough or shoudl I get a lite to keep on either 24/7 or only at night to keep the temp up in the cage? If so wut type of lite? How much watts? Thanks

David

It depends on what your temps are. With the heat pad they might be 120F or only 80F. How are we to know if you don't tell us!?

Find out what the temps are and then post them here. I'm sure you'll get a bunch of advice.
