spot bulbs raised room temp

i put in 2 75 watts zoo med basking spot lamps to replace the regular 100 watt bulbs i had in and it raised my rooms temp about 3 degrees. the only way i can figure to lower the temperature now is to get rid of an animal

You shouldn't have to get rid of an animal. Just adjust your thermostat.

You shouldnt have to get rid of an animal. just adjust your thermostat like the other person said.

Check your vent cover (where the AC enters your room) Check to see if you can open the louvers to allow more air flow into your room.

How about just leave your door and/or window open to let air circulate and dissapate the heat. A fan can be set in your room to blow away some of the heat as well.
