Does anyone have any pictures of striped amels and hypos - what are the defining characteristics? How do the two differ? Thanks!

Amel Stripes are usually a bit brighter than Hypo Stripes since Amels have no black and Hypos have reduced black. One easy way to tell is that Amels have red pupils, while hypos will not. Here is a pic of an Amel and Hypo stripe. The Amel is the one with her head on the bottom and the Hypo has his head on the top.
