i just have 2 question
1)what is the chance they will die during egg laying
2)they are being put into an aquarium flipped onm its side, and the UV bulb be placed on the glass (will the light still shine through effectively?)

1)Chances of dying in egg laying is effected by their health during the whole process leading up to their egg laying. A healthy chameleon will not die egg laying
2) Glass will filter out UVB so don't have the light shine through glass. An aquarium is a bad idea unless you really know what you are doing. Do yourself a favor and set up seperate screen enclosures for your females. Having them together is a good way to cause them stress and a stressed gravid female is a good way to get health complications.
3) It is hard to say what their lifespan is as they are relatively new to the trade.
