OK...
I'm about ready to begin construction.
I'll be using 3/4 inch birch plywood, with FRP laminated to all the inside walls.
Before I laminate the sheet to the plywood, I will be sealing the plywood with a thinned matte finish polyurethane, so the wood does'nt soak up the adhesive.
Question here is...what do you all use for adhesives when laminating?
There are all kinds I can use, but I'm looking for reccomendations.
Chris Harper...if you're reading this, I've settled on a
21"X24" ProProducts RHP.
I'm not crazy about the high wattage ( 160 ), but that is what was recommended for my size enclosure.

I used "DAP" brand floor adhesive to install vinyl in my cage. It should work the same for you. Get more suggestions though.

the DAPwould work but would also need much more curing time before put into use as its a thick based adhesive. You could also use a spray on adhesive made by 3M its called 3M 90 and will stick godzillas you know what to his leg lol this is a spray on glue adhesive and has a fast set/cure time less then about 10 mins TOTAL it is a little less forgiving when it comes to installing the items you wish to adhere though. when using this it can be doubled coated and allow about 20-30 secs for tack time , coat both surfaces ( wood & FRP) with it then lay it on the surface carfeully and squeege on to flatten it evenly on the surface .Only thing to keep in mind you only have 1 chance when using this as once it makes contact its THERE lol

Allan's suggestion is a good one I prefer the spray contact cements also. A good trick is to put 1/4" dowels between the two pieces to be joined. You can then line them up and starting from the middle or one end and start pressing in place. Remove the next dowel and continue pressing. Like Allen said you have one chance and if you just even come close to contact you won't get the mating surfaces apart.

Hope this helps.
