Sometimes its not the animals in our care that you have to watch out for. This is a spider bite which occured while I was asleep 8 days ago, I had one like this on my hand many years ago also. This is painful and starting to heal now, the pic was taken after it was cleaned with betadine and peroxide to remove seeping fluid (done daily). Reminds me of a deep gouge in the flesh the following night, only it feels this way 8 days afterwards. Its about an inch across.

This is one I got from a spider (type unknown) in a hotel in Indianapolis about 5 yrs ago. Also about an inch around, had to have some of the flesh removed due to advanced necrosis, looks like a crater in my leg....YUCK!
