ok, well, I told my mother tha blue-tongues get about 2 feet, and she aid theres no way I could ever get one.... now i've been reading, and seeing that there are some that are between 16-20 inches, so does anyone know the average size of them? or something with a similar personality thats a little bit smaller?

It depends on the species of Bluey. What species have you been looking at? Tanimbars only get like 15 inches but they are feisty and Meraukes can be as long as 30 inches.

The average Bluey on the market ( Northen and Ij) are 16 to 24 inches.

yea, a northern is what it'd be... the first one you menitoned, i orget what it was, but you said fiesty, so it's not like a regular blue tongue, its not as tame?

Yeah Tanimbars are a lot more aggresive but mine has tamed down wonderfully, but I've heard horror stories about them!!! They are my favorite species of Bluey!!! They are really neat!!

That's what I thought, but I wasn't positive...also, have you guys noticed a difference in temperament between male and female? If so, what are the differences? I'm almost positive mine's a female, and I know nothing about her because she's a rescue that was seized in a Humane Society investigation and signed over by the courts...she's about 18" long and a bit hissy and squirmy when I pick her up, but has never actually offered to bite, so I have hopes of getting her comfortable with me...

Yeah thats My Indo the other one next to him is an Irian Jaya and the one under him is a Silver tanimbar baby.

No difference in temprement between genders.
