Tempest update and photo

bexley Jun 26, 2003 09:39 AM

Well, I took some Tempest photos this weekend and thought I'd share He's doing amazingly well, he's now handlable, fairly friendly to other people as long as I'm around, and more than happy to go to the pet store or sun on the deck with me. He's come a long way from the hissing, tail whipping, biting nasty ig he was when I brought him home! Time works wonders.

He's still looking pretty horrible at this point, but at least he was green and able to move.

Tempest is looking lovely! What a change! One thing I did notice, if you look at all the photos, is that he's no longer giving you the "stink-eye". You've built a nice bond of trust. Congrats!!

Trust me, he still has his moments!! But I rarely get clawed now, even though his claws are sharp, he's much more careful climbing on me for sure. He has a tremendous time splashing in the tub now too, does rolls I swear just for fun and doesn't madly try to climb out in a hurry. I did notice just last night how he's got pads behind his eyes now, instead of just sunken hollows, it really hit me how much he's grown and how much weight he's gained.
