How to breed when the female is a real witch?????

Chameleon996 Sep 14, 2004 05:04 PM

I wanted to try breeding my two veileds, but my female is a real witch. I know that I am supposed to introduce her to his cage but I can't even get her out of her own cage. What would happen if I put him in her cage? I'm worried that if I did get her into his cage and things didn't work I wouldn't be able to get her back out quick enough. She won't be old enough until the beginning of the year (she is about ten months old now and he is almost two years) so I am just trying to figure this out.

Wear gloves to get her out. I use a water spray bottle & squirt them if they get too aggressive. It makes it easier to remove the female if she's not receptive. Keep in mind that (some) aggression from the male is to prove to her that he's big & bad. Just keep an eye on them to be sure she won't be injured.
