Pseustis Sulphureus have Hatched!!

TomD Sep 14, 2004 07:20 PM

This species is not specifically a Corius but I thought It would be interesting-
Finally after two months and two weeks and two hurricanes they hatched. It was a great sight to see them come out of the eggs. They seemed to be much more tired and wiped out by the ordeal than spiloties. But they have come back and are puffing up already. So far I have four good looking babies. Has anyone else hatched these guys out?

I don't think I have ever seen a pic of a baby Pseustes.

Very cool. You have a number of my favorite species on your web page. I started a spilotes page a while back hoping to start to make some sense of the various patterns, etc. I think its a good undertaking, especially if you can get locals involved.

There really should be a web board for big 'ol colubrids. In the mean time, I think posting here is great.
