Whats a good gutload for waxworms and whats a good gutload for crickets?
I don't know about waxworm since my waxworms never lasted for more than a couple of days and I only buy them once a month as treat.
As for crickets, you can buy the commercial dry cricket food but I prefer feeding them lots of dark leafy veggies and a slice of orange as water source. If you go with the dry cricket food you should still give the crix a slice of orange.
With my crickets I give them a variety everyday. I give a little of apples, oranges, some dry oats, shredded carrot and a lot of veggies. Mostly anything. For wax worms I'm not sure, but I have heard that you can use a mixture of honey and wheat germ and a little yeast. Thats from "The guide of owning a leopard gecko" author: Ray Hunziker.
Just a little hint you could also try silk worms and butterworms.
Waxies do well on a crumbly mix of crushed bran, honey, and a small amount of bee's wax. For crickets, I use dry oatmeal, baby rice cereal, dry milk, dry baby oatmeal, and miner-all.
