plant fertilizer

I have 2 anoles in a 25 gallon tall tank with 4 live plants.(Also lots of branches). I was wondering if I should be fertalizing the plants with some kind of plant food and also if that would be safe for the anoles. I'm also using only bottled water to water the plants.
