baby chameleon question...

My baby panther started hatching today... one question, the first one out seems to have something coming out of his stomach or something..I dunno what it is, I thought it was vermiculte but it is almost like something coming out... anyone know what this is??

Nothing to worry about. It's the umbilical cord that attached the baby to the inside of the egg. Sometimes mine hatch out with a sac still attached. It will dry up & drop off in a day or two.
