Rainwater 'tang'albino? or still too early to tell (assuming it is possible to) pics

Mayo Sep 14, 2004 10:40 PM

Here are a few pictures. The program that I use to resize the pictures has expired, so I was unable right now to resize any of the good ones that I have both inside and outside. So I had to just take these in a lower camera setting. Know of any free downloads for a good photo program that will resize. That is about all I would use it for.

I have had her for about 5 months and she was 1 month old when I got here. I picked her from a large bunch of albinos, she had the brightest orange back. I do not know the strain, but she has not browned like the Trempers. I had assumed that for $15 it was a Trempers. Do you think she is a tangerine? I need to get better colors outside.

regular old paint resizes them, if you got office microsoft photo editor reizes them
paint shop pro is better than them 2 www.jasc.com (i think, been years since i used it)
you can go to www.nonags.com its all freeware and shareware so you could get a good program for free

I have some photo editing software around somewhere. Had to reformat my harddrive a few months back, and have yet to reinstall. I do have Microsoft Photo editor, but resize service expires after 60 days. I picked the middle photo package when I bought my Dell computer. I figured it would have what I needed. Apparently the resize feature and anything worthwhile only comes on the deluxe addition. I spend $1600 on the PCU w/o monitor and that was with the state employee buying discount and I get jipped on the photo software. Go figure! Already paid $20 for the mid-level and to upgrade costs $60 more. SHould have just bought the Deluxe for $40 when I got the computer. But as you all know when you are putting it together it gets expensive fast, so I was trying to knock off $10 whereever I could.

Looks like a normal Tremper to me. Not all of them are brown. :P I wouldn't consider her a tang either, but she's a lovely leo nonetheless. I like how the yellow is overtaking the white bands.

If you are running Windows XP, go to www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx and download the Image Resizer ... (mid way down on the right).

Once you install it, you can just right-click over an image and choose Resize Image ... you can choose 3 different standard sizes or your own.

If you are running an earlier version of windows, you can search for Windows ## Powertoys and you should be able to find it.

Nice leo.

Thanks, I will take a look at that for XP. I never used any of the other photo edit features. Just want to resize from time to time. Really enjoy the fact that yahoo has increased the free mailbox to 100MB. I have had the same email through them for 7 years, and now it is finally at a level that is worth something. I do like to take photos in the 750K-1000K range, since you never know when you might wish you had a better quality. But for internet posting purposes I need to get them smaller

Where do you all post your pics online? I can only get 5-6 on the free area of kingsnake. So I have to delete to add more. Any free sites that allow a few hundred megs?

I use yahoo.com to post my pictures online. It has worked great for me. Just make sure you make your albums for public viewing if you want to post links.
