This will be the first time for me. We are making a weekend
of it as we booked a suite at the hotel.

I have 4 aquatic turtles, a 2 year old Redfoot and 2 iguanas
and I have been fostering a 3rd iguana. I heard it is a
really cool show.

Linda
Are you from the midwest? If you are making a weekend of it, may I make a recomendation on diner for you? If you like Chilly dogs and Itallion beef sandwichs, you have got to try Portillo's. They are without a dout the best!!
I am going up this week with a groupe from my work. We have already made plans for lunch at Portillo's.

there is a little place right across the street from the convention center called big al's
they will serve you an Italian beef sandwich that even I could not finish it was huge and melted in my mouth, the service was excellent there also.
the milk shakes there are really good also.
Hope to see some of you there, just look for the 280 pound red head guy with Au Jus down the fron of his shirt.
God Bless

Wow, that name where I am from is a world famous strip joint! Our Big Al's doen't have very good food, but maybe I'll have to try yours? We could always meet for lunch, just two fat guys(Ha!Ha!). I am 260.

I have missed it every time. Something always comes up to make it impossible for me to go. I told my wife this year there is no reason that will prevent me.
Will you be looking for any special herp addition? I think I will look for an additional pair of russains or golden greeks. I need a female beardie also.

Well, I am not looking for any new critters so I have to
keep reminding myself of that.

Yes, I live in Rockford, IL about 2.5 hours from Chicago.

Thanks for the tip on food. We were looking around on the
internet for somewhere good to eat.

You wouldn't know of anyone who wants a very crippled
baby Bearded Dragon do you? I was in a petshop and they
have one that I thought had MBD but the owner said it was born
that way. Poor little thing, its spine is really crooked
and so is its tail. The owner told me I could just have
it if I wanted it. It seems to have a will to live. It
was chasing down the crickets as best he could but it seemed
that the other healthier dragons were getting the most food.

I am not real knowledgable about them but I am sure it was
either a hatchling or a few months old at the most.

MBD happens to alot of them. However deppending on how bad it is, you maybe able to stop or even reverse it. If he is going to give it away, I myself would take it just to try to help it. As a matter of fact, if you want to get it and bring it to NARBC, I'll get it from you there. Email me of kingsnake @ geckoman2003@yahoo.com. We can make some arangments.
