amazon tree boa ii grounded

for 5 month he have not coil up in his branch.he's now just resting down on the floor of his cage coiling like a ball python.he looks just fine,eats like a live pork,just shed a month ago,have deworm him a couple of time.any idea if it's a sign of problem?

As long as everything is going well (eating, defecating, shedding normally), there's no worries. However, you might want to offer some different elevated options - thicker, thinner, crossed, straight, shelving, and at least one that is at least partially covered. Two out of my three spend all day on the ground in their hides but come out at night to prowl in the branches. My third spends his days coiled up on a piece of elevated cork bark with one of those half logs on top of it. Basically, mine prefer to be hidden during the day whether that's grounded or elevated.
