Looking for answers from those who breed boas........

Ok here it is, My male Salmon has been breeding my female normal for quite some time. Now this past saturday night he and her both pooped and what a mess. I took them out to change the cage and noticed she looked like she had about a thousand marbles in her. They were like small bubble shapes on her sides all the way down her body. They were soft feeling yet her body mass was large and firm. Were these the egg folicles?? Is that the ovulation?? They seemed to show a lack of interest in breeding now, maybe just a break. So I put the male in with my other female and went to work, my wife called me and said they had also started breeding. Needing more info on what ovulation is like and when it is ok to take them appart and start him on my other female? I came home from work and put him back in with the first female.

From what you have written, I would say you have on ovulating snake. Congrats! I can't tell you about how the snake "feels" because I never pick them up during this time.
Let him keep breeding the new female.
Move him occasionally back to the 1st female. If he shows no interest in her, she should be gravid.
Keep records of the dates... when she ovulated & shed.
Look for scale seperation like in this pic .
Hope this helps , gottabounce, phone is ringing off the hook. Jeff
