My New Project!!!

PristinePythons Sep 15, 2004 02:17 PM

Well I've been talking to Ben Siegels and I've wanted these balls he got in last year. Finally my dream came true! We both believe they are genetic. He's decided to concentrate on his yellow belly project (for good reason LOL) and I've taken over this project. The project consist of 4.4 banded/reduced pattern/tiger balls or whatever you want to call them. 2.3 of which came in last year together (siblings?!). 2 of the males will be bred to normal females this year so I'll find out if it's co-dom. I'll have to wait till next year to find out if it's dom and the following year to see if it's a locality trait. Here are a few pictures:

Ben has been getting those in for a few years now. I bought this male from him last year:

And this female two years ago:

My female is up to about 1900 grams, and the male about 800. I'm still feeding them well, and I expect they will breed this winter. I also expect it may well be co-dominant/incompletely dominant. If you've seen the "super-duper" reduced by Camlon Reptiles, you know what I'm hoping for.....I think I can.....I think I can....I think I can.....

Good luck with them!

Yes he sure has. These were his picks when he decided to keep back some for his own project. I just happen to be lucky to pick up the group! Ben is the man as far as I'm concerned! Yep just like Camlon I'm hoping for the same! If they don't happen to prove out, Camlon will be getting a call (if theirs prove out as well LOL). Thanks and good luck with your 2! Let me know if they prove out this year!
