Sorry Chris, it really doesn't matter what you want the snake for or what you plan on doing with it. You could be using it in an experiment to help cure blindness in children and the price would still be $2500.00 (and I'm only half joking on that, some people won't budge their price for ANY reason)
Fortunatly for you, MOST breeders are willing to negotiate price and are willing to make deals. I've rarely paid asking price for any of my snakes. Usually, I'll start off asking for anywhere from 20% - 40% off of asking price, sometimes they take it, sometimes they counter it, sometimes they'll refuse and let you know their price is firm. It's not unusual to be able to get 15-25% off the asking price. It never hurts to ask so don't be shy. Very very few people will get all huffy and angry just because you offered them less money (after all it's still more money then they make with it sitting in a cage). If they do, you probably don't want to deal with them anyway.

>>Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find a less expensive albino Ball Python. I always see them advertised for $2500. I suspect this is because they know people plan to breed them. What about (and I'm only HALF joking) a spayed or neutered albino? I'd even settle for a one-eyed albino with a gambling problem. Anything. These little guys are just so adorably precious!

>>By the way, the more I look at my (normal) little Kahotep, the more breath-takingly beautiful I think Ball Pythons are! Is that odd? =)~
