Simply put them all in a coulender, fine one that has the fine mesh/ hole syou need, a strainer is good too (same thing) and shake shake shake it baby, some worms will fall through but the work is cut out for you. Let me know how it goes.

I'm not sure the strainer is going to work depending on the substrate you are using.

I use chicken mash for my mealworm bedding and the mealworms and the mash fall through the sieve at the same rate unfortunately. The worms seem to be able to wiggle through any mesh complicating the process.

When I need to harvest a lot of mealies for feeding time I find that I can harvest plenty in a short time by placing a few slices of fresh apple on the substrate. Then wait about 10 minutes and go back and pick up the apple slices one at a time and brush the mealies off into a separate container.

Repeat the process until you have gathered enough mealies to feed your group.

Now, if you are getting mealies out of the substrate in your viv I am not sure this will work. Perhaps the sieve would be the better tool then.

mosquito netting? Not sure if this will keep the baby mealworms and bedding from going through as I don't know the size of baby mealworms LOL. Worth a shot. Regular screens may do as well
