Green Amazons???

TJ. Sep 15, 2004 05:04 PM

I just saw BillyBoys Green Amazon. That thing is gorgeous! How common (or rare) is that color morph? I don't remember ever seeing green ones before. Wouldn't mind having a couple of those. Price tags? Availability? Anyone else got some they want to show off? Thanks! TJ.

Hey TJ. Thanks for the compliment and Artemis thanks you too! To be honest, I've never seen another one the exact same color. Most of the similar ones are more mustardy/tan. He's pretty different in my experience. He's also very handleable, and eats and sheds like a champ and I just got him back in May as a full-grown, wc adult. I also have a yellow female that I'm hoping to put him with this winter and see what they produce. She's got a very light pattern, and he's patternless so I'm hoping they hit it off and give me some babies next summer. Here's another pic of him...enjoy! Billy

I'm stunned Artemis is wild caught! In the future I'd love to see him paired with one of Dan Muleary's Red ATBs. Just a thought.

Wow, what kind of babies would that produce?? Guess I'll have to save my pennies and grab one of those solid red beautiesto find out! Hopefully, he's a good breeder along with all his other great traits.

I had a male like that about a year ago, it is a great looking animal!
