Can you put two corns in the same tank?

i'm thinking of getting rid of some of my leos and getting another corn snake, if they're similar in size would it be ok to house them together?

alot of people ask this question. I say no. You are asking for problems. snakes are solitary animals in the wild only seeking a companion when it's time to mate.

if one gets sick...the other can get whatever the first one has.
if one don't eat they both may not eat.
when it's feeding time they may try to hurt each other.

in the wild they can get away from each other if need be but in a enclosure they don't have a choice.

I have 5 snakes (not all corns) and they all have their own space.
Just my opinions..

It would definitely be preferrable to house them seperately, but if its a large tank and they have seperate hide spots it may be okay. I had a corn and a yellow rat housed together temporarily and they would actually sit curled up together in the same spots. However, you cannot feed them together because this will almost assuredly lead to a fight. I'm not saying you should house them together, I'm just saying you could.

I have two female corns that I house together. They've lived together since they were just hatchlings and are now 8 yrs old. No problems what so ever. I just separate them into separate containers when I feed them and then put them back into their cage. So all in all my experience in houseing corns together has been problem free.
