Crested not eating.

adman76 Sep 15, 2004 08:23 PM

Hi!
I've got a pair of Juvenile crested (about four to five inches)
that doesn't seem to be eating. I've tried giving mealworm and baby food but they don't seem to be eating those. I have read people monitoring what their crested eats, but I don't know how this could be done in my tank. See, I have them in a 30 Gallon tank with plants and soil at the bottom. I was thinking if I were to put crickets in there, they would hide and never be found by the cresteds. Anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do? Thanks!

You may need to provide a little more husbandry info to get more pointed advice (i.e. temps, other foods tried, lighting, etc.).
