i am thinking of getting a sand boa or 2...now i know these snakes are always burrowed under there substrate..so would i have to feed in the same tank? i read that they dont need humidity and should only be offered water once every few days..is this correct? also seeing as they are always hiding what is the temperment like on them? annd last question whats the size differential from males to females?

I shoot for 90-95 on the warm side and 80ish on the cool side. I give mine water all the time - just not a lot. My KSB drinks often. You don't have to feed in the cage - especially when young you can feed in a deli cup. My KSB was feed that way and now I just put a piece of carpet on top of his substrate and he crawls on top to eat. My Roughscale eats f/t in a paper sack (with airholes) that is clipped shut until she eats. My Saharan is stubborn and will still only take live so he does eat on his substrate (aspen chips)
