Possible mites??

I found some mites on one of my snakes today..I think they came from a newly aqurired snake..I treated all the snakes with prevent-a-mite but have been told its not good to use on gecko's
I have a crested and havnt seen any mites but it was in the same room as the snakes so what should i do???
