hatchlings first shed is clear?

mistysprouse Sep 15, 2004 10:19 PM

so the first of my two new hatchlings finished shedding today and I noticed it is clear. Is this common for a first shed? This was from a normal to normal breeding and the snake appears to be a normal. I need to see what the next ones shed looks like too. hmmm.... any thoughts?

also I am still looking for answers to the post down below (started by bobtheballsmom) title is Just unusual enough to be of concern...Help?

First sheds are clear, they darken up after that.
