AMEL QUESTION

sallie_keeper Sep 16, 2004 02:12 AM

am planning for next season, so hope you don't mind the color
questions...

I have a very nice amel female that I would love to
breed with a beautiful reverse Okeetee male but don't know weither or not the two will be compatable. Would the two albino genes cancel each other out? The amel is the albino of the normal looking corn, and the Reverse Ok is the albino of the Okeetee corn... The original genes would be different...

The male I want to use just SCREAMS yellow.... And I would love to try and breed that yellow in..somehow. Guess I need to take a class in Cornsnake 101.

Any thoughts??
Harpy

Amel is Amel is Amel. It's all the same.

All of the babies would be Amelanistic. Some would probably look like the mom, some like dad, and some somewhere in between.

Now if you had been talking about Hypos, that would be a different story.
