First shed pictures (dialup warning)

snakedk Sep 16, 2004 01:23 PM

Well she shed first time while in my care. It might be her first ever shed i dont know, i doubt she is more then 2˝ months old. She might have had the post hatch shed but i dont know a whole lot about that, maybe anyone who has bred them could enlighten me?
Wouldnt let me anywhere near her thought while in shed mode - downright evil little girl. She calmed down nicely though now. Just had her out 10 min ago for a minute. Shes so pretty. Love this little girl.

Anyway, pictures. When it comes to cameras im what you would call retarded so the best i could do was play with the flash (turning it on and off lol).

The little white thing in the picture is a tempature probe for the thermostat.

Gotta love that wannabe stripe down her back.

Without flash.

Close up of the head. The brightness of the colors on her neck just blows me away.

Bringing it up the rear.

Last one.

If you made it this far. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the kind words.

I got her at a petshop. I live in denmark (europe), but i know shes a captive bread girl. Dont know from which breeder though.

We dont have any big breeders of animals like bloods, boas, pythons. Everything we get thats of the rarer nature, like bloods (they are somewhat rare in denmark, specially CB ones) is imported from the USA or wild caught.

As for the thermostat, its a digital german one. Suppose to be a great one with a lot of functions but i only know how to use the thermostat function - manual was in german.lol
Anyway, i also got a digital thermometer to make sure everything is in order.

Anyway, thanks again. Im very happy with her.

She is really pretty, you are very lucky to own such a sweet looking blood. Best of luck with her, you should be very proud

I hear alot of people in Europe talking about how hard it is to find bloods there.... but everytime they post pictures there amazing looking animals!! They may be few and far between, but it seems like there all quality animals, sometimes you have to pick and choose when looking for a nice animal in the states ( or know who to talk to )
