i bought a 3" radiated from a petstore.in my country they have a lot of difference variant of radiated tortoise like high back,high yellow,eye spot,etc.they are all C.B.

i have bought a "high back" type of radiated.it looks rounder in appearence than normal radiated,its shell looks like a baby leopard,with its back higher than normal radiated.its scutes is rather smooth with no piramiding.

so,is this some kind of piramiding?or just a variant?if it is piramiding,is there any way to correct it?

It's very hard to tell from your description. Do you have any pics you could post of your new yearling Radiated? Radiated tortoises are know for being high domed.

sorry but i dont have a scanner or a digital camera with me.it's shell is just higher and looks shorter than normal radiated.allmost ball like.

and do wear out nail grow back?
