putting two different snakes together

I have a ball python and my best friend has a corn snake. I was just wondering if putting them together to play for awhile would be okay? I know it doesn't sound like a good idea but I have no experiance so I don't know... We wouldn't be housing them together ot anything. They are both 9 months and about the same size, except my ball python is a little thicker. They both are extremely tame and friendly. Or is it possible to introduce them to eachother slowly.
