Einstein, my 4lb sulcata decided today to do something he hadnt done before. hhe been pacing wildly all afternoon, digging in the corner, he pushed over a cactus that has been in his cage for 4 months (im surprised he could move the pot), used Newton (his brother) as a stool and then preceded to climb into the 8in high window box thats in their enclosure (destroying the plants). He has also had a very bad gas for the past month. I can hear him digesting and then he breaks wind (and its just noxious) everything seems to check out ok (healthy appetite, stools have been a little loose, but other than that ok). I would appreciate some feedback

Orchard Grass hay, mazuri, green leaf lettuce, collard greens, optinua cactus pads, hybiscus flowers. Ive been feeding these the collard greens and green leaf lettuce (twice a week)

Your mazuri may have gone bad...i would check it. This seems to happen often and many people on this forum board tend to have probs with it.... i would toss it, let his system settle for a week and start anew with new stuff.good luck. ps, he is most likely paceing because his belly hurts.
