I've got the VHS version. Its got lots of good info, but the presentation is very dry (and I mean DRY) IMO. Having said that, I'm glad I have them.

I'll second the vote for dry. You won't be watching this one with anyone that isn't *really* interested in BP breeding. I would have liked to have seen more a little more detail in places, too, such as how long to leave a male with a female before rotating, etc. But overall I'd live it a 4 1/2 stars out of 5 for content. It's just presented in a very matter-of-fact way. Now if we could get Ralph to do a shirtless version...

I do like the outtake at the end where Colette tried to pull out the tub that sticks and it flies across the room. I hope there wasn't a snake in that one!

I've got it. It's only one DVD and the book is ON the DVD, you have to print it out yourself and you can only access it if you have a Mac.

Really, I don't have a mac, so could I then only few 1 dvd? 45 minutes in lenght? Not worth $70 is it? Interested in parting with yours?

No, I'd like to hang on to mine. It is a bit on the dry side but the information is good and I refer back to it from time to time. I was kind of bummed about the book thing myself, someday I'll probably find someone who could print it out for me. I've had mine for over a year now I got it right after they first produced the DVD version. Maybe it's been updated? I havn't checked back at the web site to find out.

I got the dvd (in the spring) and I have a PC and I was able to print it no problem you just have to have acrobat reader(which is a free program). The DVD is very good, and did help me with my first clutch of eggs this year, I would suggest it!!

Access the book with a Mac only? Not true. The book is a PDF and it viewed and printed fine right off the DVD on my PC. All you need is a DVD drive.

I don't have a DVD drive either and when I asked this same question about a year ago, someone mentioned that they could only access it on their Mac.

I'd be interested in possibly getting that. I use an iMac all day long. (Vive L'Apple!) If I end up getting it, I'd be happy to save the file as PC and forward it to those who've purchased it but can't open it.

I bought the VHS version a couple years ago and the DVD version last year (yeah, I know its the same thing, but I love technology), and I have to say its definitely worth the money, especially if you are just getting into ball python breeding. $70 is a small investment when you consider the possibility that you may be able cut back on your mistakes and produce more balls sooner. I still like to review it every few months just to keep it fresh in my mind. If you want to get into breeding balls, pick a copy of it up.
