Question about Heat tape???

I got my heat tape in today that I ordered from BeanFarm.The directions of assembeling the heat tape said you will need a flex watt crimping tool.Where can i get one?how much are they,and is there any other alternative?Thanks for the help in advance...

you dont need a crimping tool, just use a soldering iron and solder the wires to the copper strips on the tape. use a razor to cut away enough of the clear plastic to solder the wires to the copper strips, about a 1/4" square, know what i mean? just make sure you wrap electrical tape around the connections so you dont zap yourself
