My male BP has never shed in one piece (I mean I have a big mess of pieces of skin to clean up) but he almost always gets all of the skin off. His humidity is at the proper gauge. However, he was recently graduated up to a larger cage and when he shed this time there is a huge amount of skin left on his back. His belly and face are clear. I researched on here and have tried the wet pillow case, put him in for two hours. I can see where skin is flaking but he still has large amount of skin all down his back. I have been spraying him and cage to get humidity up. My question is, can he safely be left alone until his next shed? I have read to never pull the skin off and I am not inclined to do so because he has bitten me three times now and tried two other times in the past. It is not fun! I have read to soak them. How do you soak a snake that is not inclined to go in the water? I have never seen him in the water for the entire year I have had him. Thanks for you guys' help!! Tracy
