I'm getting my painted turtles this weekend and now wondering about my filter. I have a fluval and read lots of good stuff about them until now. I just found some article saying they weren't that great.
I was just wondering what everyone else uses?

I built my own filter. It filters the 120 gallon turtle tank and a 20 gallon tank has some fish in it occasionally. They sometimes swim between the 2 tanks. The link below tells all about it, tho I dont use the spray bar anymore.
