Turns out that the light at the other end of the room was the problem... my Scarlet King will not eat unless it is in a REALLY dark room!

Now I am covering the cage at night - kinda like one covers the canary cage - and the snake is back to eating F/T pinkies with no problem.

Just thought it might be helpful to post this here, in case someone else has similar problem.
