Try putting in only a single cricket with each dragon and see if they will eat them. If not try killing the cricket so it's not running all over the place.
Hi
try to put 10 cricks tiny not bigger then the space between the eyes i think you already know.
in a plastic container then put it in the freezer.
not to long r you freez them to dead
tiny cricks 20-30 sec in freezer til the legs just stop moving r when you see little bit movement.
check every 10-15 sec .
then dust them and put them in.
then they wil not jump like grazy but they wil slowly come alive agian and r easy prey.
sometime jumping cricks make them afraid .
byeeee
B22, that was an excellent suggestion. Bravo!!!!
All the tricks are just amazing.
Take care,
Karen
I found that some of the smaller babies needed to be by themselves to begin to feed on live prey on thier own as well. If nothing above works sometimes for them to figure out that the jumping things are actually food you have to put the prey in and grab the ones that aren't feeding and gently pry thier mouth open and put just enough of the cricket in thier mouth so it can't get away BUT BE CAREFULL not to put it too far back in thier mouth as they could swallow it whole and choke. It really works especially if you put three or four in for them and they see how satisfying the crix are for thier hunger. They will begin to associate satisfaction with the crix rather than being afraid. Good luck!
