Meet "Macho" - a lovely male Sumatran short-tailed python I acquired in a trade from Angel. This snake is a joy to work with & just a chisled onyx beauty. His head fades from dark charcoal (as you see here) to a light platinum color (still waiting to catch those shots!). Hopefully he'll be siring his first clutch of bouncing baby black bloods this year!

This is "Coco Mama" - a female Sumatran short-tailed python produced by VPI in summer 2000. I stupidly parted with this snake a couple of years ago, and through a long series of fortuitous and unexpected events she found her way back into my collection - needless to say I'm thrilled and she's here to stay!

Can you see why she's my all-time favorite curtus? I'm thinking she & Macho should throw some killer offspring - now I'm just praying they're not both het for ugly!

Hey Kara,
Like you said, sometimes we do crazy things and let go of some amazing things in our lives inadvertantly. Enter "Macho-Man". He and Coco, have got the goods to produce some very nice off-spring no doubt. The only thing that could come out of the clutch is nothing but super blacks with outstanding color and contrast. I anxiously await that pairing. Thanks for posting pictures of Macho for me. He's looking fabulous, and so is Coco-Mama.

Well I knew if Macho had come from Angel that he must be delectible, but you platnum head female is astounding as well. They make a perfect match, I couldn't imagine them producing anything that wasn't top notch, keep us posted..
