There were a couple other nice ones I tried to get pics of, but as soon as I would set them down they would boogie.

and always looking for more!
He's from the first litter (Belknap Futo). I like to get them well started before selling, and they still haven't been given their first meal, so it'll probably be about another three weeks. But the way I'm strapped for time, please don't hold me to that, LOL.

happy birthday and lots of luck with your new presents. Just keep the pictures comin.
Be safe over there and come home soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our folks over there.
ever notice alot of Bob's babies will have that strong triangle at the snout in to the headstripe ?
That's a very typical head pattern for a BCC. Even lots of BCA. That's nature, not Futo. Nothing against Bob, but credit where credit is due. Besides, Bob didn't produce this animal, I did, and the head looks much more like the father (Belknap animal). I think perhaps you've been doing way too much internet herping. You have started a new form of classification, with people's basements as the location of origin.
nothing personal ... sorry I struck a nerve or something.
It is not my intent to offend. I am a very direct person, and I speak what is on my mind. I suppose I should choose my words more carefully when posting here. But note this: I said what I had to say directly to YOU, I didn't engage in backstabbing. As to my point, I stand by it. There is no such thing as "A" Futo bloodline. He has produced with something like 5 different unrelated females, using different combinations of almost as many males. Suriname breeders are not cooks putting any combination of traits into a bowl. They may tend to breed animals they find particularly attractive, but I doubt that Bob Futo selected his animals based on the width of the head stripe at the nose (hence the word "nonsense", which I apologize for using). Why can't we just appreciate the natural beauty of these magnificent creatures, without reducing every single one of them to an object of such-and-such lineage. What bothers me is that I hear animals refered to by the breeder's name as though it is a certain "morph". It's expected anymore (along with multiple pictures of the parents). I am hearing pairings refered to as crosses (I recently heard of a Futo "crossed" with a Tudehope). When you say "Motley" I have a pretty good idea what you are talking about. But when talking about Surinames if you refer to something as a "Miller", that doesn't say much, as I have produced widely different types of litters. Just expressing my opinion on a matter which I think affects this hobby, and that's what this forum is here for. As to internet herping, I guess I'm just old fashioned. I still like to go out in woods and fields and look under rocks and logs. Try it, you'll like it.
