Well for the past week or so ive been going out to their cage (one male and one female) and have been finding sand pushed away in spots like theyre digging. But today i went out there and i actually saw the female digging but she was at the bottom and would stop digging. So i put a laying site in there (half sand half top soil). Does digging mean shes pregnant? Shes been housed with my male for the whole time ive had them. But the problem is i dont know if theyre sexually mature. I got them in may when they were juvenile, about 9 inches. And now theyre almost 14 inches. Im pretty sure theyre older than 6 months but i dont know their exact age. Could she be laying infertile eggs? Also she has a large abdomen but arent beardies usually relatively fat. I felt her to see if i could fell any eggs. Something moves when i feel her but could it be something else? Also they both have been acting weird (theyve been eating) the girl has been very skittish and the guy for the first time puffed up his beard at me. Please help im very worried yet excited.
