Anyone else at MARS today?

JDalbo Sep 18, 2004 07:28 PM

The MARS show in Maryland was great today. They had a Ball Python seminar later in the evening which I missed, unfortunately. I must say though, out of ALL the high quality morphs, the piebald is still my favorite. These snakes are amazing.

yes..I was there.......noticed alot of people were not there.....

I think it is sort of the big breeders duty to the trade to actually do a show...especially if they live close too.......so that they may show and reach the people that want to see them.......?....shouldn't they help people see some of these morphs?.....answer some questions?....be available once in awhile?.......after all ...they think or they are actually making alot of money.........they should return something and not be so stuckup as to go to shows.......???

just a thought........

I know a list of a lot of people that were not at the show...alot used to do it...and alot live near enough.....and they were not there...........

sad...........I think the show was down.......

did see alot of nice familiar people........too bad the female balls were all bought before the door opened.......nice....selection of male balls....but who wants more males.?.........LOL........

.......The Bell had about some of the best balls.....as did Ian Gniazdowski,Ted Thompson,Alan Zulich had some for show and tell......nice super......Neil had some kewl stuff.......I know I forgot some........Ted had the arabesqu albino boas.......ssssssssweet..........

...........have fun......hope you enjoyed it.......

I was there today, stocked up on Frozen rats. I guess I exped too much, as I was dissapointed in the number of BP morphs there. There were a few nice displays, but just not as much as I expected.

I agree. It wasn't all that great if you ask me, nothing like it was years ago.

The MARS show has really gone down hill big time. I was working the table with Ian Gnaizdowski and was looking forward to some other top breeders displaying some neat morphs.

Oh well, maybe Philly will have some better stuff.
