outdoor keepers?

Have any of your outdoor monitors (you know; housed outdoors) ever been hurt or anything by people?

no sir, but ants and heat and cold and rain, has done a number on them. Keeping monitors outside, is far harder then keeping them inside. But its more fun. FR

You're in Arizona; I'm in Florida. I don't have a lot of cold weather, but we do get a good deal of rain, and the humidity, (even when there are no hurricanes!) is brutal. I considered trying to come up with a way to put together a safe, usable, appropriate outdoor enclosure for the savannah we rescued. I don't yet know if it would be feasible to have him outside all year long, but I could sure give him a larger area to roam outside even if just for added exercise. Any thoughts on what I should consider in doing this?
