how big are your biggest leos? (not tremper giant)

Fritz Sep 19, 2004 07:21 AM

I thought I had some big leos until a friend dropped these 2 by the other day. I'm babysitting them for a year while him & his gf go to japan.

I don't have a scale here right now, but I'd bet they're quite over 100 grams. I have two leos of my own that weigh 85 and these are quite a bit bigger.

I put a cd in the pics with them so you can get an idea of their size.

I sold him the top one the first year I bred leos, I'm glad a friend bought her so I could see her turn into this!

How did your friend get his leo's so big? I mean those are some big ones. I'd like to get mine a little fatter myself(she's healthy now, but if I could get her I guess a little healthier if that's possible) and am wondering what he fed his to get them so big.

You could do your friend a favor, and put those geckos on a diet!! Hehehe. They look quite healthy, but obesity isn't good for any animal. (Maybe except hippos.)

Fritz Sep 21, 2004 06:57 PM

haha yeah a diet wouldn't hurt their tails, but they're not really that fatty. Both of them are solid as a rock. I can't get over even the size of the males head. I thought I had some big leos lol
