There are water dragons, chameleons, frilled dragons, pythons, and monitors in my jungle room.

Don't know about the prettiest yet.

Argus is my favorite though, and don't give me any crosses .

Salvadorri are not only the most "pretty", but IMO the most impressive, intelligent, and in other words amazing monitor out there.
As far as Favorites go, it's definetly a tie between Crocs and Waters. I mean despite what people may say about crocs, the ones I have worked with were very personable. When they tilt their heads and look at you with that face of curiousity you know they are curious thinking creatures with their own personality and Hella intelligent. But then again, salvadorri aren't quite cut out for pet material(but hey what monitor is?ackies lol), so that's when the waters come in. Don't get me wrong, waters can be a hassle, but IMO are much easier to work with than a good sized salvadorri. Waters are also quite personable too, so I like em' both.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

All I can say is ME TOO! Perentie and Lace Monitors. Oh how I wish... DK has killed alot of my time when he posts pics, I just sit there and stare for awhile. Insane beautiful.

From my own experience, my Argus Cross has been the best to work with. My juvi water still bites (bare hands, leaves a gloved one alone), the ackies (shoot, they bite too), my BlackThroat tail whips if it even senses I am within 50 feet. But the Cross gets in my face, stands up and huffs and puffs, and is just the most inquisitive animal I have. Not to mention it will jump off the ground to get a meal! Very fun.

This is what I think (I am into red monitors).

Yes, Argus are fun, they have a lot of monitorality.

cheers, andrew

I think that the prettiest are probably the green and blue trees, in that order. As to a favorite, that's hard, as I haven't a lot of experience with the various types, but I'd have to say argus, based on people's posts about them.
