Getting back to what I've found you to be good at...

What's the earliest/size (I know time and size do not necessarily conincide) that you can sex an argus at?

Could you possibly post some pics of what I should be looking for?

Not only does size and age not coincide, but neither coincide with expressing sexual characteristics.

Well, they do, but they totally overlap to a point of total confusion.

Tomorrow I will do my daily example with argus for you, I haven't done them yet, Have I? Maybe that will be helpfull. Thanks FR

Believe me I understand the confusion of trying to sex a lone monitor.

Unfortunately time seems to be the best sexing tool.

Here's a pic of my argus when they were about 8 months old.

That's what I keep telling my wife.

She won't let me get another one unil I know what I have, since I intend to try breeding them . If I have a female, this means waiting to make sure she lays eggs first.

Thank you for posting the pic. Being somewhat a noob, I'll take a guess and say the one in the front is male and the one in the rear a female?
