question/help with pied het...

carl3 Sep 19, 2004 02:01 PM

I was thinking of getting a 100% het male piebald bp and I had a few questions...

1) What is current market price for a 100% het pied male?

2) Does a HET pied have any traits, markings or characteristics that make them distinguishable from NON hets? (I thought I read something about this on another forum once).

3) What is a typical or reasonable gaurantee for a het trait, such as pieds?

4) Is there anything else to know...specific to bp hets? (basically anything other than the basic info I'd normally obtain prior to any purchase in general). I would be purchasing from a reputable, quality breeder and thought I'd ask some folks here if there was anything else to consider in what may be my most exciting purchase.

I spoke with someone who answered all my questions shortly after I posted, but thanks anyway...its an exciting purchase for someone like me who cannot afford to pay thousands for a pieds or a het female. I guess I'll find out if it pays off in a few years.
