I had 3 green anoles back a few months ago. One of them became pregnant, and we were excited to get some new babies. It was a nice day, so I took them outside for some sunlight. I then asked my son to bring them in, and he didn't hear me (blah, blah), anyway, the sun moved...and the daddy anole & pregnant female were both dead. (3rd survived). Long story short, I felt horrible. Well, apparently the female had already laid - because we had a little surprise in the cage this morning. (Can't tell you how glad I am that I didn't clean the cage last week, like I wanted to!) Question is...is the little one safe with the other anole? It is a fairly young female (we think). She won't hurt the baby, will she? AND, what do I feed the tiny thing??? It's too small for anything except maybe baby food??? ADVICE, PLEASE!

I'm new with anoles also but I think as long as they are close in size they should be ok together. I have 2 babies that my friend had (she has 6 out of 7 surviving babies, maybe more now!)and one is dominate over the other.
